HANDOVER METHOD, WIRELESS BASE STATION, AND WIRELESS TERMINAL STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handover method capable of performing handover processing in a short time even under a high speed mobile environment.

SOLUTION: The handover method includes the steps of: a border wireless base station at a border part of a subnet for registering border information denoting that its own station is located at the border part of the subnet; the border wireless base station setting the border information to a transmission frame and transmitting the frame to a wireless terminal station; the wireless terminal station receiving the transmission frame and storing the border information when it is discriminated that its own station is located at the border part of the subnet; the wireless terminal station for storing the border information handing over a different subnet; the wireless terminal station making handover establishing connection to the wireless base station wherein its own station is contained; the wireless terminal station transmitting a position registration request to a host provided with a home agent function; and the host carrying out the position registration processing.
