<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical article having an excellent reflection-preventive effect and excellent abrasion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the optical article having the reflection-preventive property comprises providing a high refractive index layer having UV-curability on at least one surface of a transparent substrate, providing a low refractive index layer having heat curability on the above layer, and then irradiating UV simultaneously with the heat curing or after the heat curing. The optical article obtained by the manufacturing method, the article which has the high refractive index layer having UV-curability on at least one surface of the substrate and the heat-curable low refractive index layer on the above layer and is formed by at least UV irradiation from above the heat-curable low refractive index layer, has a reflectance of ≤0.7% at the wavelength of 600 nm and a scratch resistance of ≥4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
