PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision device for generating a condition selection menu for narrowing contents, using an attribute suitable for recommendation strategy and an attribute value. SOLUTION: This information provision device is composed a context storage means for storing context information; a recommendation strategy generating means for generating recommendation strategy from the context information; a condition selection menu constructing means for generating a condition selection menu, based on the recommendation strategy generated by the recommendation strategy generation means; a content extraction means for selecting a content recommended for a user from the contents; and a UI management means for controlling interaction with a user, such as operation input from the user and screen output to the user. After a rough policy (referred to as recommendation strategy) is determined in recommending information, in response to the context information, a menu screen for analyzing contents of a recommendation object to narrow the contents by using an attribute and an attribute value suitable for the recommendation strategy is generated and presented to the user.
