<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of enhancing the accuracy of synchronization of operating timing between communication apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A master station apparatus 10 tries transmission of five consecutive downlink measurement data repetitively five times prior to transmission of a synchronizing signal. The master station apparatus 10 measures reciprocation times of the third data in the five downlink measurement data. A slave station apparatus 20 measures reception intervals of n sets of the downlink measurement data for each of the five trials to calculate variations in the reception intervals. The master station apparatus 10 selects the trial wherein the variations in the reception intervals are smallest. The master station apparatus 10 corrects the timing when the synchronizing signal information is transmitted on the basis of a delay correction amount calculated based on the data reciprocation time in the selected trial. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
