PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mower capable of mowing grasses on the upper side and the slopes of a ridge, having an adjuster for adjusting mowing height, and settled the problem that the operator cannot operate the adjuster of conventional mowers at hand. SOLUTION: The mower (C1) has a main cutter base (2) having main rotating blade (43) horizontally rotating and set in front of a self-propelled body (1) running with a running gear, and an auxiliary rotating blade (43a) rotating on the face crossing with the rotation-directional face of the main rotating blade (43), and has a movable cutter base (3) set swingably up and down to the main cutter base (2). The main cutter base (2) and the movable cutter base (3) are provided right and left when viewed from the front. The mower (C1) has a transmission shaft (5) connecting the main rotating blade (43) with the auxiliary rotating blade (43a). The transmission shaft (5) has an expandable means adjusting the length of the transmission shaft (5) following to the up and down swing of the movable cutter base (3), and a joint formed to transmit to the the auxiliary rotating blade (43a) with the expandable part of the transmission shaft (5) keeping linearity.
