PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover an ink mist, which floats in an inkjet recording apparatus for performing recording by a recording means moving along a recording medium, by using a simple and inexpensive constitution, and to prevent stains and malfunctions in the recording apparatus from being caused by the ink mist. SOLUTION: A recording means 10 reciprocating along the recording medium 50 is provided with a suction mechanism 40 which can suck air by a suction force generated in the step of restoration to an initial shape after compressive deformation. A butt part 41 for compressively deforming the suction mechanism by being subjected to the abutment of the suction mechanism 40 is provided on the side of a recording apparatus body.
