PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silicone rubber sponge molded article, by which the silicone rubber sponge molded article having uniformly dispersed foams having an approximately identical size, having low hardness, and friendly with environments. SOLUTION: This method for producing a silicone rubber sponge molded article is characterized by preparing an organic foaming agent-free silicone rubber sponge molded article-forming composition comprising a silicone raw rubber, thermoplastic hollow powder, a cross-linking agent, and a cross-linking retarder, molding the above-mentioned silicone rubber sponge molded article-forming composition in a prescribed shape to obtain an un-cross-linked rubber molded article G, applying a high temperature cross-linking treatment to the un-cross-linked rubber molded article G at a temperature of 300 to 500°C for 1 to 20 min in a high temperature cross-linking treatment region H, and then applying a low temperature cross-linking treatment to the cross-linked rubber molded article at a temperature of 200 to 350°C for 5 to 30 min in a low temperature cross-linking treatment region L.
