PAPER FEEDING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of preventing double-feeding of sheets by surely dehumidifying the sheets as a recording medium in a wide-range environment. SOLUTION: In the paper feeding device 10 provided with a paper feeding roller 12 for feeding the uppermost sheet one by one in touch with the stacked sheets P, heaters 20, 21 and 22 to be brought in contact with ends of the stacked sheets to heat the sheets P are provided in at lest two end parts among a leading end part in the sheets feeding direction and both side end parts. The sheets are effectively dehumidified by heating two cut ends of the sheet P, and the sheets are separated one by one to prevent the generation of double-feeding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
