A shoplifting-prevention security device includes a flexible flat substrate ( 1 ) having an inductor ( 2 ) and a capacitor ( 3 ) which form a resonant circuit, the plates of the capacitor being separated by a layer of dielectric material. Moreover, at least one zone (A) of the material can be used to establish a short circuit between the plates in order to deactivate the device. In addition, at least one face of the above-mentioned substrate is provided with a rigid part (B) having a contour (Bc) which surrounds the zone(s) (A) provided for the purpose of deactivation.
