<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable acquiring a printing result having no positional error in a plurality of image forming devices, regardless of a change in printing condition or an intentional change in printing position, and further, to enable printing position adjustment with high accuracy while suppressing a storage amount of position information. <P>SOLUTION: A printing position adjusting device 3 previously stores condition position information and unique position information concerning each copier 2. Upon receiving print data from a PC 1, the device 3 specifies the unique position information to be applied to each copier 2 on the basis of the condition position information added to the print data, the condition position information and the unique position information which are stored; and adds the information to the print data to transmit the information to each copier 2. Also, if the same condition position information cannot be found in specifying the unique position information, the device 3 searches the similar condition position information and diverts the unique position information corresponding to this. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
