<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel provided with an air bag device constituted such that a deployment cover part is not easily removed from a fixing part by variation with age or the like while certainly deploying a deployment cover part at operation of an air bag in the steering wheel in which the fixing part not deployed at operation of the air bag is provided on a pad part at a center of the steering wheel and the air bag device is provided on a periphery of the fixing part. <P>SOLUTION: A fitting part 17 comprising a vertical wall part 17a sunk to a lower side and a lateral wall part 17b is formed on an end (inner edge end) of an opening edge 13b of the deployment cover part 13 and is fitted/engaged with the fixing part 6.
