PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid transmission device with a lock-up clutch for allowing easy welding with laser beam between a supporting portion of a second transmission pawl and the shell of a turbine impeller and easy visual check for the welded condition whether good or not. SOLUTION: In the fluid transmission device with the lock-up clutch, a plurality of first transmission pawls 33 to be inserted between adjacent damper springs 32 are fixed to a clutch piston 25 and the plurality of second transmission pawls 34 to be inserted between the adjacent damper springs 32 while being opposed to the first transmission pawls 33 have supporting portions 34b joined to the outer peripheral face of the shell 3s of the turbine impeller 3 via a welded portion 40 formed with the laser beam L. The welded portion 40 is formed in a linear shape along the peripheral direction of the shell 3s in such a manner that melt-in with the laser beam L ranges from the outer face of the supporting portions 34b of the second transmission pawls 34 to the inner peripheral face of the shell 3s.
