<p>The invention relates to a workpiece cutting apparatus employed to generate ophthalmic lens curvatures. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a rotatable cutting tool (10), a rotatable shaft (42) for rotating the cutting tool and a quick-coupling and -releasing kinematic coupling provided with the possibility of coupling the cutting tool with the rotatable shaft (42), the kinematic coupling comprising a plurality of prominences (40) cooperating with and entering a plurality of grooves (44) to precisely place the cutting tool (10) in relation to the shaft (42) and to prevent the relative movement between the cutting tool (10) and the shaft (42).</p> |
