<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing original plate, capable of direct plate making by scanning exposure based on digital signals from a computer or the like, superior in image-forming properties of highlight regions, and having wide latitude in development. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing original plate has, on a support a recording layer of layered structure including, a layer containing an alkali-soluble resin and an infrared absorbent, wherein at least one layer of the recording layer of layered structure contains a high molecular compound represented by Formula (I), wherein R<SP>1</SP>represents a hydrocarbon group; R<SP>2</SP>represents an aromatic group having a hydroxyl group as a substituent; m=5-40 mol%; n=10-60 mol%; o=1-20 mol%; and p=5-50 mol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
