Load from a drive shaft is prevented from acting on a cylinder block, and this realizes, in addition to reduction in leakage of liquid to the outside, suppression of generation of cylinder block vibration and prevention of internal leakage of the liquid from the front and the back of a valve plate. A containing space (5) for containing a drive mechanism and a cylinder block (20) is defined by a front housing (3) and a rear housing (4). They cylinder block (20) is fitted, by means of its central fitting hole (21), to an extension part (9) projecting from the rear housing (4). The cylinder block (20) is then fitted to the rear housing (4) by a securing bolt (35). To the cylinder block (20) are fixed, before the assembly, a valve plate (27), and the like, by fastening bolts (31) screwed into internally threaded screw holes (32) of a retainer (29). The extension part (9) is provided with a chamber (10) for containing a radial bearing supporting the drive shaft, and the drive shaft is supported by the rear housing (4) through that radial bearing.
