PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a jack to a printed wiring board capable of facilitating an assembly process by fixing the jack to the printed wiring board by using a reinforcing member formed of a discarded board, and of improving strength of a connection-fixation part of the jack to the printed wiring board. SOLUTION: This fixing structure comprises the printed wiring board, the jack having a nearly rectangular solid shape and an I/O terminal on the front face and the reinforming member formed of a discarded board that is separated from the printed wiring board body and becomes unnecessary, and having a cut-out part capable of supporting the jack. The jack is mounted at a predetermined location of the printed wiring board, the reinforcing member is mounted in the state where the cut-out part is brought into contact with three places on both side face sides and on the back side of the jack to support it perpendicularly to the jack, and a projecting part formed on the bottom side part of the reinforcing member is fixed by fitting it to an engagement hole of the printed wiring board.
