PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve appropriate microscopic observation regardless of height of the level of an aqueous solution in a container is high or low. SOLUTION: A well 2a contains a biological sample S and an aqueous solution W. As shown in figure (a), when the level of the aqueous solution W is high, a transparent disk 3 floats on the aqueous solution W and the upper surface P1 and the under surface P2 of a disk body 4 keep parallelism with the bottom face of the well 2a. As shown in figure (b), when the level of the aqueous solution W is low, protrusions 5 of the transparent disk 3 get contact with the bottom face of the well 2a, therefore the upper surface P1 and the under surface P2 of the disk body 4 keep parallelism with the bottom face of the well 2a, and the disk body 4 is prevented from touching and pressing the biological sample S.
