PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile press-in machine which is equipped with an excavation head reducing the abrasion of a cutting edge of an excavation claw, and excavation equipment having the excavation head. SOLUTION: A plurality of excavation claws 23 and 25 for crushing ground 1, which are provided on the excavation head 20 of the excavation equipment for excavating the ground while rotating, are arranged in an almost conical spiral shape; the difference of elevation from the uppermost excavation claw 25 to the lower central excavation claw 23 is greater than or equal to the radius of rotation of the uppermost excavation claw 25; the cutting edge 26 of the excavation blade 25 is provided in the state of further protruding outward and forward with respect to a rotational direction than parts for fixing the excavation claws 25 to the excavation head 20; and a rake angle of the cutting edge 26 is set positive. Thus, since excavation is performed while the ground 1 below the excavating claws 25 and the forward ground 1 in the rotational direction are broken, the abrasion and loss of the cutting edge 26 can be greatly reduced.
