<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for a vehicle for realizing a safe and comfortable light distribution for drivers and pedestrians. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with each of a plurality of light sources for illuminating different regions and forming prescribed light distribution patterns including main light distribution parts and peripheral light distribution parts as a whole, a camera for imaging the front of the vehicle, a dangerous object determining part for determining an object dangerous for the traveling of the vehicle as a dangerous object based on images acquired by the camera, and a light source control part for illuminating the dangerous object by changing the directions of the plurality of light sources when the dangerous object determined by the dangerous object determining part is located at the outside of the main light distribution parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
