PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent a rotation following the process of tightening from occurring in adjusting toe-in by improving the shape of a rack boot without using extra material. SOLUTION: Where the wall thickness of one end part is t, the inner diameter thereof isϕ1, the outer diameter of a mating member isϕ2, and the inner diameter of a tightening clip isϕ3, a relation between a compression ratio Y defined by 2t/(ϕ3-ϕ2) and an expansion ratio X defined by (ϕ2/ϕ1) is set to fulfill the requirement of Y≥1.16 and X≤(28-Y)/22.9. Since the relation is summarized by two indexes of the compression ratio Y and the expansion ratio X, a dimensional range in which the rack boot is not rotated following the process of tightening can be accurately expressed.
