<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method of communicating information having an address book function of automatically updating destination information of registered communication counterparty by registering the destination information of the communication coounterparty by interlocking with an ENUM and having a high convenience. <P>SOLUTION: The changing of the destination information of the communication counterpart registered with a DNS server as the communication counterpart registered with the address book is detected by a destination changing detection means.
