<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a fault without depending on the state of a load in normal operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the buffer device 10 composed of a plurality of registers 110 to 117 for inputting data and successively shifting and storing the inputted data and constituted so as to extract data selected from data stored in these registers 110 to 117 on the basis of prescribed priority, output the extracted data and detecting an error, each of device diagnosis data writing parts 110a to 117a writes diagnosis data which are data for diagnosing a fault of the register in the register of the data extracted by an output data selection part 130 and a diagnosis data error detection part 150 detects an error in the diagnosis data outputted from a data output part 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
