摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to realize improvement of fuel consumption by means that impurities accumulated in a circulation channel are selectively exhausted as much as possible and hydrogen amount wastefully exhausted is minimized, while suppressing reduction of electric power efficiency caused by elevation of impurity concentration. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system of a hydrogen circulation method in which anode exhaust gas exhausted from the fuel cell 1 is circulated, an electrochemical hydrogen pump 6 is installed at a circulation channel 5 in which the anode exhaust gas flows. The electrochemical hydrogen pump 6 has a constitution that pump cells are opposingly installed while the entrance electrode and the exit electrode are plurally layered pinching electrolyte membranes, and at the respective pump cells, the anode exhaust gas entrance and the anode exhaust gas exit are respectively installed on the entrance electrode side, and a hydrogen exit is installed on the exit electrode side, and an anode exhaust gas exhausting aggregated part in which the anode exhaust gas exits of the entrance electrode side of the respective pump cells are formed. To the exit of the anode exhaust gas exhausting aggregated part of this electrochemical hydrogen pump 6, an open-close valve 7 for exhausting the anode exhaust gas to the outside of the circulation channel 5 is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
