PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc discrimination device for easily removing dusts or contamination deposited to a rail or the like. SOLUTION: This disc discrimination device 1 is provided with a freely appearing rail cleaning means 20 arranged so that it can normally save from a disc traveling surface 10a of a rail 10, and project to the disc traveling surface 10a of the rail 10 when cleaning the rail 10.
