SURFACE MODIFYING METHOD FOR ACTIVATING EACH WEB OF SHEET-LIKE BODY OR FILM-LIKE BODY, SHEET-LIKE BODY OR FILM-LIKE BODY MODIFIED BY THE MODIFYING METHOD AND SURFACE MODIFYING DEVICE FOR ACTIVATING SURFACE OF THE SHEET-LIKE BODY OR FILM-LIKE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method where a well-known boundary modifying treatment technique by flame is directly applied to the organic or inorganic film-like or sheet-like body to be surface-modified, thus thermal damage is not given to the body to be surface-modified.

SOLUTION: In the surface modifying of the organic or inorganic film-like or sheet-like body to be surface-modified, the device is provided with a supplying apparatus of supplying each stock of the sheet-like body or film-like body and a coiling apparatus of coiling the sheet-like body or film-like body supplied-out from the supplying apparatus at a prescribed speed. Then, a thermal diffusion apparatus is arranged between the supplying apparatus and the coiling apparatus. A flame apparatus is installed in the vicinity of the film-like body or sheet-like body arranged so as to be contacted with the upper face of the thermal diffusion apparatus. Flame comprising a modifying agent composed of silane atoms or titanium atoms or aluminum atoms is directly jetted from the flame apparatus toward the film-like body or sheet-like body, thus the surface to be modified is activated.
