<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a force sensor capable of correctly detecting a point of time when release of force is completed (when working force is approximately zero). <P>SOLUTION: The force sensor S1 is provided with a shaft 43 on which a magnet 49 is fixed, a case 45 reciprocatable with respect to the shaft 43 and having a Hall IC element 51 fixed thereon of which output voltage is varied in accordance with relative displacement with the magnet 49, and a main spring 53 intervening between the shaft 43 and the case 45 and elastically deformed in accordance with the force of the reciprocating direction acting between the shaft 43 and the case 45. A sub spring 55 for applying a preload is provided in the force sensor S1 so that a space is not generated between a flange part 43a of the shaft 43 and an end of the main spring 53 and between the case 45 and the other end of the main spring 53 along the reciprocating direction of the case 45 with respect to the shaft 43 in the state that an elastic deformation amount of the main spring 53 is approximately zero. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
