<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized inexpensive serial communication apparatus that eliminates the need for a synchronizing signal so as to be able to respectively simply configure a master side and slave side transmission/reception circuits, relieves the circuit load of the slave side and eliminates the need for a transmission/reception switching means and to provide a communication method thereof, and a system apparatus employing the serial communication apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The master side transmission/reception circuit 2 outputs a serial data signal DATA resulting from superimposing a low level superimposing pulse on a clock signal TCLK for its high level period in response to an output data signal DH<SB>0</SB>outputted to the slave side transmission/reception circuits SL1 to SLn, and the slave side transmission/reception circuits SL1 to SLn superimpose a high level superimposing pulse on the data signal DATA for a period equivalent to a low level of the clock signal TCLK in the serial data signal DATA received from the transmission line 4 in response to an output data signal DS<SB>0</SB>outputted to the master side transmission/reception circuit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
