<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member holding mechanism capable of easily and securely holding a plurality of kinds of cylindrical members with different diameters to be held. <P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical members to be held are held from above by a movable holding member 440, which is turnably journaled by first and second support members 420 and 430 and energized by a spiral spring 450 and whose turning direction is restrained in the energization direction by a turning restraining mechanism 444. However, restraint of the movable holder member 440 by the turning restraining mechanism 444 can be released, and the released movable holder member 440 is held at a prescribed released position by a position retaining mechanism 446. The holding of the movable holder member 440 by the position retaining mechanism 446 can be also released, so that the members to be held can be freely attached/detached, and can be securely held. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
