SCREEN, FRESNEL LENS SHEET USED IN SAME, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain bright images in a peripheral area by reducing reflection loss of a screen in the case where the incident angle of image light entering the left and right upper edges of a transmission type screen is large. SOLUTION: A Fresnel lens sheet (6) includes an incident face prism (10) on the image generation source side and in the area where the incident angle of incident light is almost 40°or more. The incident face prism (10) has an incident face (c) which at least the incident light enters: an emission face (d) with which light entering the incident face is refracted and emitted; and a refracting face (e) with which light emitted from the emission face is refracted and guided to the image observation side of the Fresnel lens sheet.
