<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load in the memory initialization of a BIOS for preventing a system failure caused by an installation mistake of the memory. <P>SOLUTION: This memory initialization controller 40 reads memory control data serving as control data controlling the input and output of data to the memory to initialize a memory controller 20 controlling the memory. A memory comparison control information storage part 401a stores memory comparison control information serving as information comparing and controlling the memory control data, an SPD data reading part 402a reads the memory control data from the memory, and a memory initialization control part 402b compares and controls the memory control data based on the memory comparison control information to initialize the memory controller based on the comparison control result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
