<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter suitable as a liquid crystal display (LCD), a PALC and a plasma display for a portable terminal, a portable game machine, a notebook personal computer, a television monitor, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing color filter comprises a photosensitive layer, forming process of forming a photosensitive layer on the surface of base material by using a photosensitive composition, an exposure process of modulating light from a light irradiation means by means of a light modulation means having (n) pieces of pixel parts which receive light from the light irradiation means and emit the same; and thereafter, exposing the photosensitive layer with the light transmitted by a microlens array on which microlenses having non-spherical surfaces capable of correcting aberrations due to the distortion of emission surfaces in the pixel parts are arranged and a development process of developing the photosensitive layer exposed by the exposure process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
