METHOD FOR CORRECTING HIGH-DEGREE MYOPIA

The method for correcting high-degree myopia consists in altering the shape of the anterior corneal surface. The method comprises layer-by-layer resection of the cornea generating the peduncle connecting with the corned and resection of the corneal disk of specified diameter and thickness calculated by the nomogram. The superficial layer-by-layer resection of the cornea is performed generating the surface flap corneal disk. The following refraction cut of the cornea provides for generating two sequential layer-by-layer sections varying by their diameter and depth.
