PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inspection window in a broiler from being broken when the inspection window is removed. SOLUTION: A band-like bimetal 37 whose upper end side is curved in a long horizontal U-shape is directly fixed with a screw 38 to a broiler top plate 21 near an inspection window unit 23 on the broiler top plate 21. A pin 39 projecting on the upper end is located just under a locking hole 40 formed in a connection part 31 of the inspection window 25 when the burning of a burner is stopped and the temperature is low. When the temperature of the broiler top plate 21 and the inspection window 25 rises as the burner burns, the bimetal 37, sensing the heat, moves the upper end upward to insert the pin 39 into the locking hole 40, so that drawing-out of the inspection window 25 is restrained.
