PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture an image pickup device by making a window part cylindrically curved and to prevent a deviation in focal distance. SOLUTION: The image pickup device is provided with a device main body 11 provided with a light-transmitting window part 15 and an imaging device 16 disposed in the device main body 11 turnably in panning directions to image the outside through the window part 15. The window part 15 is in a cylindrically curved shape bent in panning directions, and a correcting plate 21 having a cylindrically curved shape with the same bend radius as that of the window part curved in a tilting direction is attached to the imaging device 16. Vertical and horizontal light beams are once refracted by either the window part or the correcting plate to make focal distances the same, forming an image on an image pickup element.
