PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly of a heavy load tire and a rim preventing rim friction without impairing rim assembling performance. SOLUTION: A projecting strip and a recessed groove to be engaged with each other are formed between a bead base surface 1 of the tire T and a bead base surface 2 of the rim R, and the same inclined angle with respect to a tire axial direction is given to the projecting strip and the recessed groove, respectively. Relative deviation is caused between the tire T and the rim R in the tire axial direction by relatively rotating the tire T and the rim R around a tire axis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
