SOLUTION: An electrode device 2 for brain wave detection arranged in contact with the scalp B for detecting brain wave signals comprises a bar-shaped electrode device body 5 for which an electrode 6 is arranged at the distal end and a cap 3 having an elastic member 10 including an electrolyte 11 attached to the distal end of the electrode device body 5 and tightly arranged so as to cover the electrode 6, and a connection means 7 for detachably connecting the cap 3 to the electrode device body 5 is provided.
