<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that enables control such that a job is not interrupted in adjustment mode when a user is continuously or frequently using the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus which performs adjustment mode operation for every imaging number when printing operation is not performed has a count processing function of counting an imaging number for determining when the adjustment mode is executed and a timer count processing function of counting the time after the end of printing operation and is equipped with a main body control part 8 which has a control processing function of performing the adjustment mode operation when an imaging count value and a timer count value reach an adjustment mode imaging count value and an adjustment mode timer count value, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
