<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thermoelectric material having a large orientation degree of a crystal and an excellent thermoelectric characteristic, and also to provide a thermoelectric material formed by the same method by cooling a fine particle of the thermoelectric material, and ensuring an easier orientation by a magnetic field on the occasion of forming the thermoelectric material or a molding body of the same thermoelectric material in the magnetic field by using the unisotropy of a magnetization coefficient. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of orientational thermoelectric material including a step for applying the magnetic field comprises a step for cooling at least the thermoelectric material fine particle in the process to apply the magnetic field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
