PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply detect and determinate ellagic acid of extremely low solubility with respect to various solvents with high precision by high-speed liquid chromatography (HPLC). SOLUTION: Dimethylacetamide is added to a solution containing ellagic acid and the obtained solution is measured by high-speed liquid chromatography (HPLC) to simply and rapidly detect/determinate ellagic acid with high precision.
