<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program, an image generating system capable of generating realistic images like a air turbulence and an information storage medium therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The image generating system comprises: a coordinate setting part that sets a grid with an intersection of a vertical line and a horizontal line of a mesh dividing an original image vertically and horizontally as a grid point, and sets a polygon apex coordinate and a texture coordinate to each grid point; a value of shimmering calculating part that calculates a value of shimmering at each grid point that changes with the lapse of time; and a drawing part that draws a polygon with the original image as a texture based on the polygon apex coordinate of each grid point and the texture coordinate obtained by adding the value of shimmering to the texture coordinate of each grid point, and generates a shimmering image of the original image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
