<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic processing adjustment for a standard sample by jointly using an existing device by calculating the minimum processing point required for designated processing of a standard sample, and processing only the processing amount by a processing machine. SOLUTION: The measuring surface of a height measuring device 42 is lowered to be pressed to a standard sample on a measuring table 5 4, and the moving distance of the height measuring device 42 is calculated by an encoder of a servo motor 39. A measurement signal of the moving distance is input to a control device 57, and the height of the standard sample is calculated according to the preset height before lowering of the height measuring device 42, the height of the height measuring device 54 and the moving distance. Thus, the height of the standard sample can be detected accurately. Subsequently the control device 57 moves a moving device 37 in the direction of E and controls a polishing grinding wheel 49 or a milling device 50 to polish the standard sample for a preset polishing amount. As a result, only the height measuring device 42 is attached to the existing automatic adjusting device for a line sample, whereby the adjusting and processing for the standard sample can be conducted automatically and accurately.</p> |
