<p>The shading device (10) has a fabric sheet (20) wound onto a shaft (11) and tensioned by the extension of a drop-rod (13) fitted to the fabric, whereby the drop-rod is movable along a fixed guide (14). A telescopic component (17) is extendably mounted on the fixed guide, and the drop-arm is transferable from the fixed guide onto the telescopic component and extendable together with it.
