摘要 FIELD: radar engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method can be used for building or modernizing rotating multifunctional radar systems with electronic scanning. Method is based upon area angle electronic scanning accomplished with simultaneous azimuth rotation of aerial. For the purpose two aerials are used in different wave ranges with electronic control of diagram in angle-area plane. Aerial having longer wavelength is used for scanning of space and for detecting targets and aerial with shorter wavelength is used for measuring errors in tracking targets. Both aerials are placed onto same rotating base. The aerials are driven into quick and continuous rotation. Quazi-continuous signal is irradiated by detecting aerial. Signal after being reflected from the target is detected. Azimuth, angle of area and radial speed of target are memorized at the moment of detection. Angular intervals of azimuth of diagram are brought into coincidence with azimuth of detected target. Diagram of target is shifted abruptly within the interval for angle of target's area. By probing the space with signal having single-valued range the additional search of target by angle of space within width of measuring aerial when taking radial speed of speed into account. Range of target is determined and errors in azimuth range and speed scanning is measured and current coordinates and vector of target's speed are calculated. ^ EFFECT: continuous scanning of space; high speed of data renewal. ^ 1 tbl
