A corrosion inhibiting composition for use in inhibiting corrosion of metall ic surfaces, the composition comprising a first surfactant wherein the first surfactant includes at least one sorbitan fatty acid ester and a second surfactant wherein the second surfactant includes at least one polyoxyethylene derivative of a sorbitan fatty acid ester.
