The block has a frame (1) made of massive pine, jamb-liners (7) and a metallic sill (9), where the jamb-liners present a profile permitting stoppage of water by gravity. The jamb-liners present a groove (7a) inclined at an angle of 94 degrees and arranged longitudinally with respect to a cross-piece (3), and a projection arranged laterally and fitting in the cross-piece. An independent claim is also included for a process of assembling a joinery block.
