PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control system for an electric drive vehicle. SOLUTION: A method of controlling braking of a vehicle having a motor and a brake is provided. The method includes a step for sensing an actual operating parameter of the motor, and a step for sensing a required operating parameter of the motor. The motor is controlled on the basis of the actual operating parameter and the required operating parameter of the motor.
