<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding device achieving almost zero friction coefficient. <P>SOLUTION: A stainless plate 7 is put in contact with a solid lubricant 6 which is a material formed by impregnating graphite with metal. The solid lubricant 6 is fixed to a ultrasonic vibrator with an epoxy resin. A ultrasonic oscillator, not illustrated, is connected to the ultrasonic vibrator 1. The ultrasonic oscillator, not illustrated, applies ultrasonic alternating voltage to the ultrasonic vibrator 1. As a result, such a phenomenon appears that the friction coefficient lowers, which is possibly caused by a reduction in contact area or contact time between the solid lubricant 6 and the stainless plate 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
