CARD-TYPE TARGET SUBSTANCE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electrode arranging means in a card-type target substance detector.

SOLUTION: The card-type target substance detector is composed of: (A) a card constituted by providing (1) at least one sample placing recessed part and (2) an electrode for detecting a target substance electrochemically on a card-type substrate; and (B) a display part having a card inserting port and displaying an electrochemical change occurring on the card. An acting electrode and a counter electrode are arranged on the card-type substrate as electrodes and a reference electrode is arranged on the contact part with the card in the display part so as to come into contact with the acting electrode and the counter electrode through the target substance.
