The dynamometer has an electronically controlled loading unit which has a generator (5) with power electronics at the downstream side. An electric resistance (7) connected with a cooling system, follows the power electronics. A target/actual value input is provided at the power electronics. Integrated dynamometer and an automatic coupling are provided in the front of wheels that are connected with a chassis.
