Disclosed is a disk-shaped or strip-shaped tool for cutting machining, particularly for cutting profiles on a workpiece, such as a crankshaft which is moved in a rotating manner during machining. Said tool comprises several cutting inserts ( 11 ) which are radially clamped to a tool base holder ( 10 ) on the peripheral side or edge side thereof. At least one cutting insert ( 11 ) is fixed to a cassette-shaped support ( 12 ). Said cassette-shaped support ( 12 ) can be displaced in an axial direction in the area of the surface which supports the cutting insert ( 11 ) by means of a displacement wedge ( 13 ) and/or in a radial direction by means of another displacement wedge ( 33 ).
